Working with Javier helps to understand how the insurance coverage works. This was not something I could have done on... my own. Javier acted almost like an insurance attorney providing invaluable advice. So, the moral of the story is that you need Javier to guide you through your coverage. However, this does not mean that you leave everything to Javier and sit in the corner. You have to understand what is covered and what is not and be ready to supplement your extras out of your pocket to realize your own expectations. The paintwork is a good example; the insurance won't pay the Benjamin Moore paint, and what they pay for doesn’t do much beauty. Then you have to follow up and make sure you pay the extra for what you really want. This works with everything; if you work with Javier on your budget, you will need to take his lead with the third-party contractors. The other deceptive element of insurance is the timing; if you depend on the money coming from the insurance, the process takes forever. The insurance reinstallation is a business model, a system, and there is no logic to it. When supplemental requests are involved, the insurance pays $1000 to accommodation instead of instantly approving a $500 supplemental. The process is very frustrating, and people get frustrated; however, Javier NEVER says NO. Whatever you want, he finds a way to deliver. He did the re-paint job for free with the paint of my choice. I was unhappy with some installations. He immediately got them fixed. One other thing is that Javier never bothered me with payment timing. He was pretty flexible. He did not even call for follow-up. I read the negative reviews on the website, BUT the point is that Javier is not the reason for customer frustration. Construction work is an expensive open-ended process; the products we usually get are not top-notch Armani Casa style, they are what insurance covers and the process is frustratingly time-consuming unless you pay up-front and ready to pay for extras. So the frustration-cause is not Javier; it is the difference between what it is and what we want to be. I will review three different things. One their office professionals, second the roof team, third the roof itself. ... Katharine and Brittney were wonderful to begin with, the facilitated the work, worked with my insurance, listened patiently to my questions and demands. They made everything wonderfully easy. The roof crew with team lead Walter, that arrived on time, were impeccable. Hard working, focused, organized motivated team. I have not seen construction done so efficiently in decades. They were minutious, didn't rush but didn't wasted time. Ensured everything was clean and neat before they left. They were precise, knew what they were doing and didn't wasted a minute. That's a professional team with a great positive attitude, every one of them! The roof looks amazing, the color I wanted, and you can tell it will be a solid work for years to come! If you reading this and need housework, stop and call America's Best RIGHT NOW. Javier and his team or by far the best... contractors I've ever used. Javier's attention to detail is insane and I couldn't imagine what kind of shoddy work any other company would have done. His team did the job from the remediation of water removal, then mold removal, then mold testing, then rebuilding, then cleaning. He cares about family safety too, he wouldn't allow anything past that could harm my family and my newborn son. Seriously, you don't have to worry about cut corners, people not showing or anything unprofessional. His team is great and I'm picky as hell. He also knows everything about insurance so he does what's needed quickly to get the ball rolling. Again, if you're reading this because you need restoration or any other home service, call these guys. I'm hiring him to work on my deck and fences and all kinds of stuff too cause they're that good!read more

I have to say that Javier and his team were a pleasant surprise to work with.We recently moved to the area and have... had a lot of work done on our house by multiple companies. Javier and his team were not only professional, responsive, on time!!! and friendly, but also motivated to complete the work in a timely manner with skill and precision.With the OTHER companies we hired, I was shocked by the poor communication, excessive damage to property, little to no response from management, and always running 1-3 hours late to a job. My home will be “The House That America’s Best Restored”! Javier, Cliff, Roberto, THE WHOLE TEAM are amazing.... Basement flooded, had to be gutted and put back together. Got a few quotes that were crazy, UNTIL Javier came in and REALLY let us know what REAL issues we had and what needed to be done. Was a pleasure utilizing America's Best. Down from the owner Mr. Javier to his assistants Ms. Leah Dargan, Alex and and... also the people that completed the work. America's Best was on time and completed the tiling in one day. The next few days they were able to fix all of the dry wall damage within the house. The following day after that Mr. Javier sent over a cleaning lady that clean my entire first floor including the kitchen and bathroom. Superb work on her part. They helped us with a homeowners claim for roof and interior damage. They worked with my insurance company and worked... with our hectic schedule on the repairs. From the beginning the front office (Leah) helped us promptly get someone out to tarp our roof and Alex helped get us the estimate and worked with the insurance company. It was a pleasure working with Javier Hernandez. Very Professional and always on time and available. Extremely... important for a contractor to be available. Javier finished the job in the time designated. 7 weeks for the reno job, complete gut of kitchen and master bath. He took my designs and finishes and turned them into reality. All his staff was very patient and did a great detailed job. His tile man Elmer is the BEST! If you look at the photos of the shower you will see the back wall looks like one piece of marble. This was an expensive project with very high end materials. We got a fair price and excellent workmanship. Great cabinetry for a great price!
